Motor Control
Graduate Student Award
The Award will be presented to the best
presentation given by a graduate student in the field of Motor Control. The
Award consists of a Certificate and a 200 US$ prize. The Award winner will be
announced during the closing section on Wednesday 29.
Technical Demonstration
On Tuesday afternoon,
during the Poster Session, there will be a demo of the GRAFISCAN 3D SYSTEM and
its application to forensic analysis of handwriting. A brief description of the
system is available here.
Weather
The weather
in Salerno at the end of June is usually warm and dry. Temperature is around
25°C (80°F) during the day and about 20°C during the evening, but sea breeze may
occasionally cool it down, especially at night.

There will be two
shuttle buses serving the conference. They will have a display on the front
reading "IGS 2005".
Shuttle bus
#1 originates from Mediterranea Hotel and stops at Piazza della Concordia and
Jolly Hotel before leaving the city.
Shuttle bus
#2 originates from Lloyd’s Baia Hotel and stops at Jolly Hotel before leaving
the city.
Partecipants
that do not stay at any of the conference hotels may catch the bus at any stop.
Please note that the bus cannot wait for passengers at Piazza della Concordia.
Be sure to be there on time to avoid missing the bus.
